There are just some weddings that you can never stop thinking about. Victoria and Brent’s wedding day at Powell Crosley Estate was that wedding for us. It was elegant, effortlessly luxurious, and every detail was so intentional. After such a fantastic event, we left that night hoping it wouldn’t be our last time at this stunning venue.

Our First Visit to Powell Crosley Estate

From the moment we loaded up Penny and hit the road for our two-hour drive to Sarasota, we couldn’t stop talking about this wedding. We had already seen so many photos of this venue, and were so excited to finally see Powell Crosley Estate in person. We just knew it was going to be a beautiful day. Penny was all cleaned up, looking her best, and we had a feeling she was going to fit in just perfectly.

Powell Crosley Estate is just beautiful! With its expansive lawn, large palm trees and the stunning waterfront view, this 1929 Mediterranean-style mansion exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t decide if we were at a wedding venue or on a movie set. Yes… it was that beautiful!

We were thrilled when we saw the location of where Penny would be set up for the day. She would be out on the lawn, overlooking Sarasota Bay. Penny was right beside the reception space where guests would enjoy dinner, toasts, and dancing. She was part of the celebration all night long.

A Fairytale Ceremony on Sarasota Bay

But before the party began, we had the privilege of witnessing one of the sweetest ceremony moments…

Victoria’s father stood quietly at the bottom of the grand staircase as he waited for his daughter to make her way down to him. Watching him see his little girl, before walking her down the aisle, felt a little bit like watching a scene straight from a fairy tale. It was one of those moments that reminds us why we love weddings so much.

The ceremony was intentional, heartfelt, and overflowing with love. From Penny’s front seats, we had the perfect view as these two committed their lives together, surrounded by the people who love them most.

Cocktail Hour Is Penny’s Favorite Time of Day

Soon after, cocktail hour began. Or better known as Penny’s favorite part of the day. Several guests wandered over to see Penny and share their VW Bus stories. These moments are so much fun for us. The guests asked questions, looked inside, and promised to come back as soon as dinner was over. We smiled hearing that because we know that, indeed, the real fun starts after dinner!

Groups of cousins, college roommates, siblings, aunts, uncles, and grandparents piled into Penny, one after another, to create those memories that they’ll never forget! The guests were letting loose and laughing together. We couldn’t help but smile because, we always know that years from now, these photos won’t just remind them of a beautiful wedding… they’ll remind them of the time that they climbed into our little vintage bus together and laughed until their cheeks hurt.

That’s why Penny is there. She’s more than a photo booth or a fun addition to the reception. She creates experiences that become part of a family’s story.

The Perfect Ending to an Unforgettable Day

As the evening came to a close, guests gathered outside the estate to send Victoria and Brent off with cheers and celebration. We could hear the excitement from the front of the mansion as we packed up, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

Victoria and Brent, thank you for inviting Penny to be part of such an incredible celebration. Your wedding was timeless, elegant, joyful, and filled with so much love. Congratulations to you both!
