A Dade City Wedding At Covington Farms

June 27, 2026

Some weddings are simply joyful from beginning to end, and Marina and Austin’s wedding at Covington Farms, in Dade City was exactly that.

We had been looking forward to their wedding for months, and before we knew it, the day had finally arrived! And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Florida wedding without the heat! The sun was shining in full force, and we worked, setting up through the hottest part of the day. But, we knew that the evening would finally bring us a little relief. Thankfully, beautiful venues like Covington Farms, make even the hottest days worth it.

Covington Farms is absolutely stunning. As you drive onto the property, you’re greeted by rolling hills and you can see the massive barn in the distance. It is such a serene sight when you see it. As you continue driving in, you will spot some massive oak trees draped in Spanish moss, and then a peaceful lake stretching out beyond the ceremony lawn. At first glance, the venue looks like a charming barn, but once we made our way around back to where Penny would be parked for the evening, we were blown away.

A Beautiful Wedding at Covington Farms

The elegant two-story venue overlooks the lawn with a gorgeous covered porch, and Penny’s spot right in front of the lake couldn’t have been more perfect. After getting her all set up, we slipped into our wedding attire, grabbed a quick meal, and got ready for another unforgettable celebration.

Once we returned to Penny, I started walking around the ceremony space, taking photos. Marina and Austin happened to be making their way toward the ceremony site, too. They spotted Penny first, then smiled and waved as they walked by with their photographer. While I continued photographing the venue and wedding details, I couldn’t help but hear their quiet giggles during their portraits. It never gets old.

A Heartfelt Ceremony Beneath the Oaks

Before long, guests began arriving, filling the ceremony space beneath the huge oak trees. The afternoon sun filtered through the Spanish moss, creating the most peaceful setting while providing much-needed shade from the Florida heat. As always, we watched the ceremony from inside Penny. It’s honestly one of our favorite parts of every wedding.

Then It Was Penny’s Turn to Shine

Their ceremony was heartfelt, sweet, and before we knew it… it was Penny’s turn to shine! One of the very first guests to climb aboard Penny was a little boy, and his parents. The little guy couldn’t have been more than five years old. He completely stole our hearts. He had enough personality for the entire wedding and was determined to make sure everyone knew where the party was happening.

Our favorite memory? As soon as the YMCA started playing, he ran and grabbed one of the bridesmaids by the hand and practically pulled her into Penny so they could dance together. It was absolutely adorable! You have to watch this super fun video right here! (Even with his face being covered to honor his family’s privacy, it’s the sweetest video!!).

That fun-loving energy never slowed down, for the entire evening. Parents, grandparents, cousins, college friends… everyone piled into Penny throughout the evening, laughing, dancing, making memories, and celebrating Marina and Austin together.

These are the nights we love most. The kind where every generation jumps in together and nobody wants the party to end. Then, almost before we realized it, it was time for the grand exit.

A Perfect Ending to a Beautiful Day

While everyone gathered at the front of the venue to send the newlyweds off, we were packing up behind the building. We could hear the cheers echo across the property and watched them drive away into their new adventure together.

What an incredible day. Marina and Austin were thoughtful, kind, and such a joy to celebrate. We’ll probably never stop being amazed that this is what we get to do.

Congratulations, Marina and Austin! Thank you for allowing Penny to be part of your beautiful wedding day. It was an honor to celebrate with you and your wonderful family.
